When you read the marking on the back of an old banded V-belt, every character matters. This page covers the Optibelt 5-D 6477 from the KB VB series. Use it to confirm what you are replacing before you request a quote.

The Optibelt 5-D 6477 is a banded V-belt with a length of 6477 mm. The KB VB series identifies the construction, and the part number 5-D 6477 is what you should match against the marking on the belt you are removing. If the old belt is worn or dirty, clean the back and read the full code before ordering.

Because this belt is banded, it joins several V-belt strands into one unit. That makes the marking especially important: a single incorrect character in the part number can point to a different profile or length. Confirm the code on the belt, then send that number to our team. We carry Optibelt and can help confirm the right belt or suggest an equivalent.

To request a quote, send the part number 5-D 6477 by WhatsApp or email. If you are unsure whether the marking is complete, include a photo of the back of the belt and the drive it runs on. Our team replies promptly and will confirm the correct belt for your application.
