The Optibelt 4-A 3250 is a banded V-belt in the KB VB series, built for drives that run several V-belts side by side and need them to stay tied together. Banded construction keeps the ribs from rolling or flipping in the sheave grooves, which is why this type shows up on heavy drives where a single belt would not carry the load evenly.
