This Optibelt 3VX KB 1000 is a banded V-belt from the Super KBX-Power series. Banded construction ties multiple V-belts together to resist whip and keep the drive running as a set.
Banded V-belts are used on multi-groove drives where single belts would flip, roll, or vibrate. Typical settings include fans, blowers, and other industrial equipment that run several V-belts side by side. The joined bands keep the belts aligned and sharing the load.
To confirm fit, match the belt marking to your drive. Check that the profile is 3VX and the length is 2540 mm, and count the number of ribs or bands in the old belt. If the marking is worn, measure the drive grooves and center distance, then send that information with your quote request.

Frequently asked questions
- How do I confirm this banded V-belt fits my drive?
- Compare the profile (3VX), the length (2540 mm), and the number of bands to the belt you are replacing. If the old belt is unreadable, send the drive make, model, and groove count for review.
- Can I replace only one belt in a banded set?
- Banded V-belts are built as a single unit with multiple bands. Replace the complete belt, not individual ribs, to keep the drive running as designed.
- What information should I send for a quote?
- Send the part number 3VX KB 1000, the quantity, and any drive details you have. If you are unsure of the number, include the profile, length, and band count from the old belt.
