Description
OPTIBELT 32 AT5K6 / 4000 AFX belongs to timing belt, part of our Power transmission range. Tell us how many you need by WhatsApp or email and we'll get back to you promptly with a quote for 32 AT5K6 / 4000 AFX and any equivalents.
The Optibelt 32 AT5K6 / 4000 AFX is an AT5 profile timing belt with a 4000 mm length and a 5 mm pitch. Before you fit it, inspect the drive and sheaves so the new belt runs true from the start.
Check sheave grooves for wear, burrs or debris, and confirm the teeth are clean and undamaged. Misaligned or worn sheaves can shorten belt life regardless of the belt's quality. Verify that the shafts turn freely and that the sheaves are aligned to each other.
Confirm the AT5 profile and 4000 mm length match the drive before installation. The 5 mm pitch must match the sheave pitch exactly. If the old belt marking is unreadable, send us the drive details and we will help confirm the correct belt.
After fitting, recheck tension and alignment with the drive at operating temperature. A short run-in period followed by a re-tension check helps prevent early failure. Keep the belt clean and free of oil or debris.
