Description
OPTIBELT 3-B 1400 belongs to v-belt, part of our Power transmission range. Tell us how many you need by WhatsApp or email and we'll get back to you promptly with a quote for 3-B 1400 and any equivalents.
The Optibelt 3-B 1400 is a banded V-belt in the KB VB series, supplied by MR Industrial Accessories. Before you fit a new belt, inspect the drive and sheaves. Worn grooves or misalignment can shorten belt life, so a quick check now saves a repeat job later.
Start by locking out the drive and checking sheave grooves for wear, rust or embedded debris. Use a straightedge across the sheave faces to confirm alignment. Any groove that is visibly wider than the others will let the new belt sit too deep and slip under load.
Next, check the sheaves for runout and make sure the bushing and key are secure. If the drive uses multiple belts, replace the full set so the load stays evenly distributed. The 3-B 1400 is 1400 mm long, and its banded construction keeps the ribs together during installation.
When you are ready to order, send the part number 3-B 1400 by WhatsApp or email. Our team can confirm the belt or suggest an equivalent based on your drive details.

Frequently asked questions
- What should I check on the drive before installing this belt?
- Inspect sheave grooves for wear, rust or debris, verify alignment with a straightedge, and check for runout. Correct any issues before fitting the new belt.
- Can I replace just one belt on a multi-belt drive?
- For banded V-belts, replace the complete set so all belts share the load evenly. Mixing a new belt with old ones can cause uneven tension and premature failure.
