This Optibelt Vario Power belt is a variable speed belt, identified by the code 22X8 525. It measures 525 mm in length. We carry it for drives that require a belt to run at variable speed.
Variable speed belts are used on drives where the pulley diameter changes to alter speed, such as some industrial transmission systems. This belt is built for that type of service. The code 22X8 525 identifies the profile and length, and the length is 525 mm.
To confirm fit, check the marking on the old belt and compare it to the code 22X8 525. Measure the outside length or match it to the drive's specification. If you are unsure, send the part number and photos of the belt and the drive pulleys. Our team can help confirm the right belt or suggest an equivalent.
