Description
MOVENDIS PP-SPC5000 belongs to v-belt, part of our Power transmission range. Tell us how many you need by WhatsApp or email and we'll get back to you promptly with a quote for PP-SPC5000 and any equivalents.
The Movendis PP-SPC5000 is a narrow wedge V-belt in the SPC profile with a length of 5000 mm. Before fitting a new belt, inspect the drive and sheaves to confirm the correct profile and length and to catch wear that can shorten belt life.
Check sheave grooves for wear, cracks, or buildup. Worn grooves can prevent the belt from seating correctly, leading to slip and heat. Verify sheave alignment and that all components are secure. Confirm the drive uses the SPC profile and that the required length is 5000 mm.
Inspect the old belt for uneven wear or damage that may point to a drive issue. If the drive uses multiple belts, replace them as a set to keep load sharing even. After fitting, check tension according to the drive manufacturer's instructions and recheck after the initial run-in period.
