When a drive belt fails, the fastest way to identify the correct replacement is to read the marking on the back of the old belt. The Movendis PP-5VX870-EPDM-AS is a cogged narrow V-belt with a 5VX profile and a 2210 mm length. We carry this belt for maintenance, engineering and purchasing teams across the United States, Canada, Mexico and South America.

The marking on a worn belt gives you the profile and the length in one line. On this Movendis belt, the 5VX profile identifies the cross-section, and the 2210 mm length gives you the outside length. Use both numbers when comparing against the belt you are replacing. The cogged raw edge construction is part of the PowerPlus EPDM Cogged Raw Edge Narrow series.

If the old belt marking is worn or unreadable, check the drive for a belt that still shows its profile and length. You can also measure the old belt, but the marking is the more reliable reference. Send us the part number PP-5VX870-EPDM-AS or the profile and length, and we will confirm the belt or suggest an equivalent.
