The Movendis PP-5V2000 is a narrow wedge V-belt in the PowerPlus series, built to the 5V profile and measuring 5080 mm in length. Before you fit it, take a few minutes to inspect the drive, because a worn or misaligned sheave will shorten the life of any new belt.

Start with the sheaves. Check the groove surfaces for wear, scoring, or buildup, and confirm the grooves are clean and free of rust or burrs. Look for a ridge or step where the belt rides, which indicates groove wear. A worn sheave can let a new 5V belt sit too deep, so it slips and overheats.

Next, check alignment and tension. With a straightedge or laser across the sheave faces, confirm the pulleys line up so the belt runs true. Inspect the bearings for play or noise, and make sure the drive guards and mounting bolts are secure. If the drive uses more than one belt, replace the full set at the same time so the load is shared evenly.

To request a quote, send us the part number PP-5V2000, and tell us the quantity you need. If you are matching an existing belt, the marking on the back gives the profile and length, and we can help confirm the right belt or suggest an equivalent. We carry Movendis PowerPlus narrow wedge V-belts and reply promptly by WhatsApp or email.
