The Movendis PP-3VX505-EPDM-AS is a cogged narrow V-belt in the 3VX profile with a length of 1283 mm, part of the PowerPlus EPDM Cogged Raw Edge Narrow series. Before fitting it, inspect the drive and sheaves so the new belt runs true and wears evenly. We carry this belt for maintenance, engineering and purchasing teams.

Start by checking sheave grooves for wear, rust, burrs or embedded debris, and confirm the grooves match the 3VX profile. Misaligned sheaves or worn grooves can shorten belt life and cause noise or vibration. Check the sheave alignment with a straightedge or laser tool, and correct any offset before installation.

Inspect the old belt for cracks, glazing, missing cogs or exposed cord. If the drive uses multiple belts, replace them as a set so the load is shared evenly. Confirm the new belt length of 1283 mm matches the old belt marking, and verify the 3VX profile against the sheave groove.
