The Movendis PP-3600-D/S8M-180 is a double-sided timing belt from the PowerPlus Double-Sided Timing Belts series, with a length of 3600 mm. Before you fit it, take time to inspect the drive and sheaves so the new belt runs true from the start.

Check sheave grooves for wear, burrs or embedded debris, and confirm that flanges are not bent or rubbing. Misaligned or worn sheaves can shorten belt life and cause noise even when the belt itself is correct. Verify that the shafts turn freely and that bearings do not have excessive play.

Measure the center distance and compare it with the original setup. Confirm that the take-up adjustment has enough travel to tension the belt properly. Inspect the old belt for uneven wear patterns, cracks or missing teeth, as these often point to a drive problem that should be corrected before the new belt is installed.
