The Movendis PP-1904-D/S8M-180 is a double-sided timing belt from the PowerPlus Double-Sided Timing Belts series, with a 1904 mm length. It suits drives that need synchronous power transmission from both faces of the belt. Before fitting it, inspect the drive and sheaves so the new belt runs true.
Start with the sheaves. Check for worn grooves, burrs, corrosion or build-up that can damage the belt teeth. Confirm the sheaves are aligned and that the bearings turn freely. Any runout or misalignment will shorten belt life, no matter how good the replacement is.
Next, look at the rest of the drive. Tensioners and idlers should spin smoothly and show no flat spots or play. Clean the area so debris does not get trapped between the belt and the sheaves. If the old belt failed early, find the cause before installing the Movendis PP-1904-D/S8M-180.
