The Movendis PP-1784-D/S8M-180 is a double-sided timing belt from the PowerPlus Double-Sided Timing Belts series, with a 1784 mm length. It suits drives that need synchronous power transmission from both faces of the belt. Before fitting a new belt, inspect the drive and sheaves so the replacement starts on a sound system.

Check sheave grooves for wear, burrs or debris, and confirm the sheaves turn freely without play. Misalignment or a worn sheave can shorten the life of any timing belt, including this double-sided profile. Correct any drive issues first, then fit the PP-1784-D/S8M-180 and tension it according to the drive manufacturer's procedure.

Because this is a double-sided timing belt, both faces carry teeth for synchronous engagement. Verify that the drive is designed for a double-sided belt and that the routing matches the original. If you are replacing an existing belt, compare the part number and the 1784 mm length before installation.
