Description
MOVENDIS P-990-5M-450 belongs to timing belt, part of our Power transmission range. Tell us how many you need by WhatsApp or email and we'll get back to you promptly with a quote for P-990-5M-450 and any equivalents.
The Movendis P-990-5M-450 is a timing belt in the Curvilinear H-Type series with an HTD 5M profile and a 990 mm length. Before you fit it, inspect the drive and sheaves so the new belt runs true.
Check the sheaves for worn grooves, burrs, or debris that can damage the belt teeth. Confirm the sheave profile matches HTD 5M and that the 5 mm pitch aligns with the drive. Misalignment or a damaged sheave will shorten belt life even when the replacement is correct.
Verify the belt path and tensioner movement. The P-990-5M-450 has a 990 mm length, so confirm the drive layout and center distances before installation. Rotate the drive by hand to check for interference and recheck tension after the first run-in.
When you request a quote, send the part number P-990-5M-450 and the belt marking. If you are unsure about the profile or length, our team can help confirm the right belt or suggest an equivalent.
