The Movendis P-790-D/5M-180 is a double-sided timing belt with a 790 mm length, part of the Curvilinear Double-Sided Timing Belts series. Before you fit a new belt, inspect the drive and sheaves so the replacement runs true and lasts.

Check the sheaves for worn grooves, burrs, or debris that can damage the belt teeth. Confirm the sheave profile matches the curvilinear tooth shape of the P-790-D/5M-180, and verify that the 790 mm length suits the drive layout. Misaligned or damaged sheaves will shorten belt life no matter how good the belt is.

Inspect the entire drive: look for oil or coolant leaks, loose mounts, and worn bearings. On a double-sided timing belt, both tooth faces engage, so any roughness on either side of the sheaves matters. Clean the sheaves and check that the belt runs centered without rubbing on flanges or guards.

When you are ready to order, send the part number P-790-D/5M-180 by WhatsApp or email. Our team replies promptly and can help confirm the right belt or suggest an equivalent.
