The Movendis P-1400-D/S14M-180 is a curvilinear double-sided timing belt with a 1400 mm length. Before you fit it, inspect the drive and sheaves for wear that can shorten belt life.
Check the sheaves for worn grooves, nicks, or debris that can damage the belt teeth. Verify that the shafts turn freely and that the sheaves are aligned. Confirm the belt path and tensioner operation match the drive requirements.
A new belt on a worn drive can fail early. If you find damaged sheaves or misalignment, correct those issues first. Then install the P-1400-D/S14M-180 and set tension according to the drive manufacturer's procedure.
