This page covers the Mitsuboshi Z 21, a classical V-belt with profile Z. Before you fit it, take a few minutes to inspect the drive and sheaves so the new belt runs true and wears evenly.
Check each sheave for wear, chips, or grooves worn into the V. Worn sheaves can cause a new belt to slip or seat too deep. Clean the grooves and confirm the sheaves are aligned and tight on their shafts.
Look at the old belt as you remove it. Cracks, glazing, or missing sections point to a drive problem rather than just an old belt. If the drive runs more than one belt, replace the full set so loads stay even.
The Mitsuboshi Z 21 is a classical V-belt with profile Z. The same size is also listed under Gates Z 21. Send the part number and the drive details by WhatsApp or email, and we will confirm the belt or suggest an equivalent.
