The GUMMI A-30 flexible coupling connects two shafts while absorbing vibration and compensating for minor misalignment. Its elastic rubber center handles torque peaks and reduces noise between machines. It suits pumps, fans, compressors and conveyors where a simple, low-maintenance connection is required.

This coupling is part of the Type A series and comes with two standard hubs (CN) plus the rubber center. Key figures: nominal torque 82 Nm, maximum bore per hub 30 mm, pilot hole 10 mm. The rubber center measures 127 mm in diameter, the overall length is 110 mm, and the weight is 2.4 kg. Use these values to check the coupling against your shaft and load.

Common installations include centrifugal pumps, fans, screw compressors, conveyors and machine tools. In each case, the coupling compensates for small angular and radial misalignment and filters vibration that would otherwise reach the gearbox or motor. It is a practical choice where quiet transmission and few lubrication points are priorities.

Before assembly, confirm the shaft diameter does not exceed 30 mm and the working torque stays within 82 Nm. The 10 mm pilot hole allows final boring to match the actual shaft. Check alignment between both hubs before tightening set screws, and inspect the rubber center under pulsating loads or frequent starts.
