A flexible coupling in the GUMMI Type A line, the A-120 CI joins two shafts while taking up misalignment, vibration and torque peaks. Within the Type A range, the code tells you two things. The A-120 sets the size, and CI indicates the integral hub variant, where hub and flange are produced as one piece rather than assembled. That construction keeps mounting straightforward and gives the assembly extra rigidity. The largest shaft this size accepts is 170 mm, so it belongs on larger diameter shafts; anything above that calls for a bigger size in the same series.

Heavy drives are where this coupling earns its place: mills, conveyor belts, high-flow pumps, industrial fans and process machinery that runs without long stops. Because it compensates for angular and radial misalignment, bearings and seals see less wear. Where starting torque runs high, the elastic element absorbs the shocks before they reach the rest of the system. Selection comes down to three inputs: shaft diameter, nominal and maximum torque, and operating speed. The 170 mm maximum bore is the hard limit for the A-120 CI.
