The Gates XPB 4250 PowerBand is a banded V-belt from the Quad-Power 4 PowerBand series, with a length of 4250 mm. Before installing a new belt, inspect the drive and sheaves so the replacement runs true.
Check sheave grooves for wear, rust, or debris, and confirm the sheaves are aligned. Worn or misaligned sheaves can damage a new banded V-belt quickly. Clean the grooves and correct any alignment issues before fitting the belt.
Verify that the replacement belt matches the old one by profile and length. The XPB 4250 PowerBand has a length of 4250 mm, and the banded construction keeps the ribs together for stability on the drive. Confirm the sheave groove profile suits the belt before installation.
