Description
GATES XPB 1700 belongs to v-belt, part of our Power transmission range. Tell us how many you need by WhatsApp or email and we'll get back to you promptly with a quote for XPB 1700 and any equivalents.
The Gates Quad-Power 4 XPB 1700 is a cogged narrow V-belt with an XPB profile and a 1700 mm length. When you are replacing a belt, the marking on the back of the old belt is the fastest way to confirm you are ordering the same size.
Start by reading the old belt. Look for the profile and the length on the back, such as XPB and 1700 mm. If the belt is worn or the print is gone, measure the outside length and check the cross-section against the XPB profile. The same size is also listed under Optibelt XPB 1700.
Once you have the profile and length, send the part number or a photo of the marking by WhatsApp or email. The team can confirm the Gates Quad-Power 4 XPB 1700 is the right match or suggest an equivalent. For drives with multiple belts, replace the full set at the same time so the load stays even across the grooves.

Frequently asked questions
- How do I confirm the Gates XPB 1700 matches the belt I am replacing?
- Check the marking on the back of the old belt for the profile and length. If it reads XPB and 1700 mm, the Gates Quad-Power 4 XPB 1700 is the same size. When the marking is unreadable, measure the length and compare the cross-section.
- What information should I send for a quote?
- Send the part number, the profile and length from the old belt, or a clear photo of the marking. If you are unsure, include the drive details so the team can help confirm the right belt.
- Is the same size listed under another brand?
- Yes. The same size is also listed under Optibelt XPB 1700.
