Replacing a banded V-belt starts with the marking on the old belt. This Gates SPB 6700 PowerBand is a banded V-belt from the Super HC PowerBand series with a 6700 mm length. Use those two details to confirm it matches the belt you are removing.
Check the back of the belt you are replacing. The part number, the series name and the length are printed there, so you can compare them directly against this listing. The profile is SPB, and the length is 6700 mm. If the old belt is worn or the marking is unreadable, measure the length and note the cross-section before you request a quote.
A banded V-belt ties multiple V-belts together with a common backing, which keeps them running as one unit on drives that use several belts side by side. When you replace a banded belt, confirm that the replacement carries the same profile and length as the original. This Gates belt is identified by the code SPB 6700 PowerBand and belongs to the Super HC PowerBand series.
