This page covers the Gates Micro-V belt in the PJ profile, 914 mm length. Before you fit a new poly-V belt, inspect the drive and sheaves so the replacement runs correctly. The same size is also listed under Optibelt PJ 914.
Start by looking at the sheaves. Worn grooves, nicks, or debris change how the ribs seat and can shorten belt life. Check alignment between pulleys and confirm the ribs are clean and dry.
Check the tensioner and any idler pulleys for smooth rotation and play. Spin them by hand and listen for roughness. A worn bearing or a sticking tensioner will affect the new belt even if the old one failed elsewhere.
Compare the old belt to the new one. Confirm the PJ profile and 914 mm length match the marking on the back of the belt you remove. If the marking is unreadable, send us the part number and photos of the drive.
