Description
GATES D 270 PowerBand belongs to v-belt, part of our Power transmission range. Tell us how many you need by WhatsApp or email and we'll get back to you promptly with a quote for D 270 PowerBand and any equivalents.
The Gates D 270 PowerBand is a banded V-belt in the Hi-Power PowerBand series, with a length of 6858 mm. Before you fit a replacement, inspect the drive and sheaves so the new belt runs true and wears evenly.
Check sheave grooves for wear, rust, and buildup. Worn or misaligned grooves can damage a new banded V-belt quickly, so correct any misalignment and replace damaged sheaves before installation. Confirm the drive is free of debris and that all guards can be refitted.
Verify the part number on the old belt matches D 270 PowerBand and that the length, 6858 mm, suits the drive. Because this is a banded V-belt, all ribs work as one unit; if the drive uses multiple belts, fit a complete matched set rather than mixing new and used belts.
For a quote, send the part number D 270 PowerBand, the quantity, and the drive details. If you are unsure, the team can help confirm the right belt or suggest an equivalent.
