The Gates Hi-Power II D 136 is a classical V-belt in the D profile with a length of 3581.4 mm. This is a heavy-duty cross section used on large industrial drives, and the part number is what most buyers work from when ordering a replacement.

Classical D-section belts turn up on drives where the pulley grooves are cut for the older inch-series cross sections rather than narrow wedge profiles. If the drive was built around a D-section sheave, a narrow V-belt will not seat correctly, so the profile has to match before anything else. Confirm the belt by reading the marking on the back of the old belt, then measure its outside length and compare it to the 3581.4 mm listed here.

The same size is also listed under Stark D 136 and Dayco D 136, so those markings may appear on a belt already on the drive.
