Description
GATES C 225 PowerBand belongs to v-belt, part of our Power transmission range. Tell us how many you need by WhatsApp or email and we'll get back to you promptly with a quote for C 225 PowerBand and any equivalents.
The Gates C 225 PowerBand is a banded V-belt in the Hi-Power PowerBand series, with a length of 5715 mm. It ties multiple V-belts into one unit so they run as a set on the same drive. Before you fit it, inspect the drive and sheaves.
Check sheave grooves for wear, rust, or buildup, and confirm the grooves match the belt profile. Misaligned or worn sheaves can shorten belt life and cause vibration. Turn the drive by hand to check for binding or damaged bearings.
Verify that all sheaves are aligned and that the take-up has enough travel for a 5715 mm belt. Clean the grooves and remove any debris. If the old belt failed early, correct the drive problem before installing the new one.
