This is a Gates Tri-Power cogged classical V-belt in the BX profile, with a length of 7697 mm. It is a raw-edge belt built for drives where a standard wrapped belt would run hot or slip. Before you fit it, spend a few minutes on the drive itself.
Check the sheave grooves for wear, burrs and embedded debris, and confirm the grooves match the BX profile. A worn groove lets the belt sit too deep, so it slips and burns even when the belt is new. Run a straightedge across the sheaves to check alignment, and check the bearings and bushings for play.
On multi-belt drives, replace every belt in the set at the same time with belts of the same profile and length. Mixing a new belt with stretched ones overloads the new belt and shortens the life of the set. Set tension to the drive manufacturer's specification and recheck it after the first hours of running.
