Description
GATES BB 42 belongs to v-belt, part of our Power transmission range. Tell us how many you need by WhatsApp or email and we'll get back to you promptly with a quote for BB 42 and any equivalents.
This Gates BB 42 is a double-V (hexagonal) belt in the Hi-Power Dubl-V series. It has a BB profile and a length of 1140 mm. The same size is also listed under Optibelt BB 42.
The BB profile and 1140 mm length are the two numbers to match before you order. The BB profile sets the cross-section that must sit correctly in the pulley grooves, and 1140 mm is the datum length for the drive. If your old belt is marked BB 42, this is the size to quote.
Double-V belts are used where both sides of the belt contact pulleys, so confirm the drive layout and the pulley grooves before replacing. Check the old belt for wear, cracking or glazing, and inspect the pulleys for damage at the same time.
Send the part number BB 42, the brand Gates and the quantity you need by WhatsApp or email. Our team replies promptly and can help confirm the right belt or suggest an equivalent.
