The Gates B 84 PowerBand is a banded V-belt from the Hi-Power PowerBand series, with a length of 2134 mm. Before fitting a new belt, inspect the drive and sheaves so the replacement runs true and lasts.
Check sheave grooves for wear, rust, or buildup that can seat the belt incorrectly. Confirm the sheaves are aligned and the shafts turn freely. Worn grooves or misalignment can shorten belt life and cause vibration, even with a new banded V-belt.
Verify the old belt's marking matches the required profile and length. The B 84 PowerBand is a banded V-belt with a length of 2134 mm. Banded construction ties the ribs together, which helps keep multiple belts running as a set on drives with two or more grooves.
After inspection, fit the belt without prying it over the sheave flange. Tension it to the drive manufacturer's specification and recheck after the first run-in period. To request a quote, send the part number B 84 PowerBand by WhatsApp or email.
