Description
GATES B 79 PowerBand belongs to v-belt, part of our Power transmission range. Tell us how many you need by WhatsApp or email and we'll get back to you promptly with a quote for B 79 PowerBand and any equivalents.
This is a Gates B 79 PowerBand belt from the Hi-Power PowerBand series, a banded V-belt with a 2007 mm length. The B profile and 2007 mm length are the two dimensions to match when you select or replace this belt.
The B profile sets the cross-section that must fit your sheave grooves, and 2007 mm is the datum length for the drive. Confirm both against the old belt or the drive specification before you order. A banded V-belt ties the ribs together so they run as one unit, which suits drives where single belts would whip or turn over.
The marking on the back of the belt should read B 79 PowerBand. If the old belt is worn or the marking is gone, measure the length and note the profile, then send that with the part number. We carry Gates belts and can confirm the B 79 PowerBand against your drive details.
