Description
GATES B 144 PowerBand belongs to v-belt, part of our Power transmission range. Tell us how many you need by WhatsApp or email and we'll get back to you promptly with a quote for B 144 PowerBand and any equivalents.
The Gates B 144 PowerBand is a banded V-belt from the Hi-Power PowerBand series, with a length of 3658 mm. It is built for drives where multiple V-belts run in parallel and must stay aligned under load. Before fitting a new belt, inspect the drive and sheaves so the replacement starts true and wears evenly.
Check each sheave groove for wear, rust, or buildup that can seat the belt incorrectly. Confirm that all grooves are the same width and that the sheaves are aligned with each other. Any misalignment or worn groove will affect the new banded belt, even if the length is correct.
The B 144 PowerBand measures 3658 mm. Because it is a banded V-belt, it ties the individual belts together to resist flipping and jumping. When you replace it, inspect the entire set and the tensioning system. Send the part number and the drive details, and we will help confirm the right belt or suggest an equivalent.
