Description
GATES 8V 2800 PowerBand belongs to v-belt, part of our Power transmission range. Tell us how many you need by WhatsApp or email and we'll get back to you promptly with a quote for 8V 2800 PowerBand and any equivalents.
The Gates 8V 2800 PowerBand is a banded V-belt in the Super HC PowerBand series. It is identified by its 8V profile and 7112 mm length. Use those two markings to match it to the belt you are replacing.
When you pull the old belt, read the marking on the back. You are looking for the 8V profile and the 7112 mm length. The 8V 2800 PowerBand matches on both. A banded V-belt ties its ribs together, so confirm the replacement is banded, not a set of single belts.
Check the drive before ordering. Look at the sheave grooves for wear, and check that the sheaves are aligned. If the old belt failed early, the cause is often in the drive rather than the belt. Replace banded belts as a unit.
Send the part number 8V 2800 PowerBand by WhatsApp or email to request a quote. If you are unsure whether this is the right belt, send a photo of the back marking and the sheave information. We can confirm the belt or suggest an equivalent.
