Description
GATES 8V 2240 PowerBand belongs to v-belt, part of our Power transmission range. Tell us how many you need by WhatsApp or email and we'll get back to you promptly with a quote for 8V 2240 PowerBand and any equivalents.
The Gates 8V 2240 PowerBand is a banded V-belt from the Super HC PowerBand series. This page covers how to match it to the belt you are replacing.
To match your existing belt, read the marking on the back of it. The profile is 8V and the length is 5690 mm; both need to line up with what you are running now. A banded V-belt ties the strands together, so the number of ribs and the overall width have to match the pulley set.
If the marking is worn off, measure the outside length and the top width across the banded belt. Compare those to the 8V profile and 5690 mm length listed here. Send the old part number or those measurements and we will confirm the Gates 8V 2240 PowerBand or suggest an equivalent.
When you request a quote, include the part number, the quantity, and any details from the old belt. We carry Gates and can help you confirm the right belt for your drive.
