Check sheave grooves for wear, rust, or buildup that can keep the belt from seating. Confirm the sheaves are aligned and the shafts turn freely. Look for damaged or missing guards, and correct any issues before installation.
Verify that the replacement matches the old belt by profile and length. This belt measures 5080 mm and is a banded V-belt. Banded construction ties the ribs together, which helps keep multiple belts running as a set on drives that use them.
