The Gates 5VP 2650 PowerBand is a banded V-belt from the Predator PowerBand series, with a length of 6730 mm. Before you fit it, inspect the drive and the sheaves so the new belt runs true from the first start.
Check each sheave groove for wear, rust, or buildup, and confirm the grooves are aligned. Worn or misaligned sheaves can shorten the life of any banded V-belt, including this 5VP 2650.
The belt is banded, so all ribs carry the load together. Confirm the sheave groove profile matches the belt, and check that the drive is free of debris or obstructions before tensioning.
Have the part number ready when you request a quote. We carry the Gates 5VP 2650 PowerBand and can help confirm it for your drive.
