This page covers the Gates Polyflex JB belt with part number 5M 670 JB. It is a Polyflex narrow V-belt with a 670 mm length. Use the profile and length to match the belt you are replacing.
The most reliable way to match this belt is to read the marking on the back of the belt you are replacing. The part number 5M 670 JB identifies the profile and the 670 mm length. If the old belt is worn or the marking is unreadable, measure the length and confirm the profile before ordering.
Polyflex narrow V-belts are used where a compact, high-capacity drive is needed. The 670 mm length suits drives with small pulley diameters and short center distances. When replacing, check the pulleys for wear and alignment, and confirm that the belt sits correctly in the groove.
If you are unsure whether this is the right belt, send us the part number from the old belt, the drive setup, and the application details. Our team can confirm the 5M 670 JB or suggest an equivalent. We carry Gates belts and serve customers across the United States, Canada, Mexico and South America.
