Description
GATES 5M 1400 JB belongs to v-belt, part of our Power transmission range. Tell us how many you need by WhatsApp or email and we'll get back to you promptly with a quote for 5M 1400 JB and any equivalents.
The Gates 5M 1400 JB is a Polyflex JB narrow V-belt with a 1400 mm length. Before fitting it, inspect the drive and sheaves for wear, alignment and debris. A clean, true-running drive helps the new belt seat and run as intended.
Check each sheave groove for wear, scoring, rust or embedded material. Confirm the sheaves are aligned and securely mounted, and that the drive has no damaged components. Correct any issues before fitting the belt.
Route the 5M 1400 JB over the sheaves without forcing it. Adjust tension according to the drive manufacturer's procedure, then run the drive briefly and recheck. Keep the belt free of oil, coolant and dust.
For a quote, send the part number 5M 1400 JB and the quantity you need. If you are unsure this is the correct belt, include the old belt's marking and details about the drive.
