Description
GATES 3M 462 JB belongs to v-belt, part of our Power transmission range. Tell us how many you need by WhatsApp or email and we'll get back to you promptly with a quote for 3M 462 JB and any equivalents.
The Gates 3M 462 JB is a Polyflex JB narrow V-belt with a 462 mm length. Before fitting this belt, inspect the drive and sheaves to confirm they are clean, aligned, and free of wear.
Check sheave grooves for wear, cracks, or embedded debris. Worn sheaves can damage a new belt quickly, so measure groove width and look for a polished or stepped profile. Confirm that the sheave diameter and groove angle match the belt's narrow V profile.
Verify alignment between sheaves with a straightedge or laser. Misalignment causes edge wear and heat, reducing belt life. Also check that the drive can be adjusted to allow proper tensioning without bottoming out the belt in the groove.
After installation, run the drive briefly and recheck tension. Keep the drive area free of oil, dust, and debris. For a quote on the Gates 3M 462 JB, send the part number and quantity by WhatsApp or email.
