Description
GATES 3M 406 JB belongs to v-belt, part of our Power transmission range. Tell us how many you need by WhatsApp or email and we'll get back to you promptly with a quote for 3M 406 JB and any equivalents.
The Gates 3M 406 JB is a Polyflex JB narrow V-belt with a 406 mm length. Before you install it, take a few minutes to inspect the drive and sheaves. A worn sheave or misaligned pulley can shorten the life of any new belt.
Check sheave grooves for wear, rust, or embedded debris. Look for a step or ridge where the belt rides; if the groove is worn, the new belt may sit too deep and slip. Confirm that the sheaves are aligned and that the belt runs straight in the grooves.
Inspect the drive for damaged bearings, bent shafts, or loose mounts. Correct any misalignment or vibration before fitting the belt. Clean the grooves and remove any oil or dirt that could affect grip.
When you are ready to order, send the part number 3M 406 JB by WhatsApp or email. The team replies promptly and can confirm the right belt or suggest an equivalent.
