Description
GATES 3M 243 JB belongs to v-belt, part of our Power transmission range. Tell us how many you need by WhatsApp or email and we'll get back to you promptly with a quote for 3M 243 JB and any equivalents.
The Gates 3M 243 JB is a Polyflex JB narrow V-belt with a 243 mm length. Before fitting this belt, inspect the drive and sheaves for wear or misalignment that can shorten belt life.
Check sheave grooves for wear, cracks, or embedded debris. Worn sheaves can cause the new belt to slip or seat incorrectly, leading to premature failure. Verify that sheaves are aligned and that the belt tensioning mechanism moves freely.
Confirm the belt marking matches the required part number. The 3M 243 JB is identified by its profile and 243 mm length. If the old belt is worn or the marking is unreadable, measure the length and note the profile before ordering.
