Description
GATES 28x650 belongs to v-belt, part of our Power transmission range. Tell us how many you need by WhatsApp or email and we'll get back to you promptly with a quote for 28x650 and any equivalents.
This is a Gates Multi-Speed variable speed belt, part number 28x650, with a 650 mm length. Variable speed belts are used on drives where the pulley sheaves change diameter to vary speed, such as adjustable-speed transmissions and variable-pitch driven equipment.
To confirm fit, match the belt profile and the 650 mm length to the drive. Check the old belt's marking and compare the profile and length before ordering. If the profile or length differs, the belt may not sit correctly in the sheaves or may not allow the full speed range.
When the existing belt is worn or stretched, the drive may not hold the correct speed or may slip under load. Inspect the sheaves for wear, oil, or debris, and replace the belt if the profile is damaged or the length has changed. For drives with multiple belts, replace all belts as a set to keep the load even.
