The Dodge QD bushing P-A is a tapered locking device that secures pulleys, gears and similar transmission components to a shaft. Turning the screws tightens the bushing, so mounting and removal can be done without hammers or presses. The code P-A comes from the QD bushing series and identifies both the size and the configuration. Letters and numbers in the QD series correspond to the shaft diameter and the torque capacity of the assembly.
