A DODGE J-A QD bushing locks a pulley, gear or similar hub onto a shaft. The split-cone shape lets it seat centered and come off again without hammering on the shaft, which suits drives that get serviced or reconfigured often. Because the hub slides onto the tapered cone and is drawn up by the mounting screws, pulleys, gears and couplings can be fitted or pulled without heat or press work.
