A DODGE SCEZ Y-bearing flange unit combines a 4-bolt flange housing with a SCEZ insert bearing. It mounts directly onto flat surfaces and supports rotating shafts where firm fixing and alignment matter. The unit is compact and built for industrial duty. MR Industrial Accessories LLC supplies this line and helps US and Latin American customers identify the right reference.

Reading the code helps you order the correct variant. In a reference such as FB-SCEZ-104S-PCR, the FB prefix denotes the 4-bolt flange housing. SCEZ is the insert bearing series, which sets sealing and load characteristics. The digits that follow, here 104S, give the shaft diameter in inches per Dodge nomenclature. The PCR suffix covers insert details such as the locking method. Once you know each block, matching a unit to an existing application becomes straightforward.

These flange units appear in food, chemical, cement and metallurgical plants. Typical equipment includes belt conveyors, mixers, fans, pumps and other process machinery. They suit shafts carrying moderate radial and axial loads. The four bolts pull the housing tight against walls or steel structures, which helps in cramped installation areas. Users value the series for dependable operation and simple maintenance in tough conditions.

When choosing a unit, review shaft diameter, radial and axial loads, and the operating environment. Insert sealing matters because it keeps lubricant in and contaminants out; for damp or dusty locations, look at configurations with reinforced seals. At assembly, verify that the flange sits flat and do not strike the bearing. Correct lubrication and a proper fit on the shaft support longer service. Interchangeability is common because 4-bolt flange mounted bearings follow dimensional standards, so one brand can often replace another. Sealing, locking method or load capacity may still differ, so check the technical data before substituting a component. The DODGE SCEZ series matches other brands that offer similar configurations. The final decision should always reflect the demands of the application.
