Description

DBH 9595 belongs to radial shaft seal, part of our Seals range. Tell us how many you need by WhatsApp or email and we'll get back to you promptly with a quote for 9595 and any equivalents.

The DBH 9595 is a radial shaft seal built for rotating shafts. It keeps lubricant where it belongs and blocks dust, water and other contaminants from reaching the bearing cavity. The three dimensions that define it are shaft 40 mm, housing 80 mm and height 8.00 mm. Because it is press-fitted into covers, gearboxes and pumps, it wears over time and should be replaced as soon as leaking starts or the elastomer feels hard.

This seal carries the Lt design and the designation 9595, which places it in the DBH series of radial shaft seals for general service. The lip runs against the rotating shaft while the outer diameter sits press-fitted in the housing bore. Before you order a replacement, confirm all three measurements: shaft 40 mm, housing 80 mm, height 8.00 mm. A small deviation in any of them can block installation or allow leakage.

Typical locations are gearboxes, centrifugal pumps, electric motors, conveyor rollers and machine tools, wherever a shaft turns inside a fixed housing and oil or grease has to stay contained. In food and process plants, the fluid and the operating temperature guide the choice of elastomer. Shaft condition also matters: a worn shaft may call for an offset lip or a repair sleeve.

Installation calls for a clean housing and shaft, free of burrs and deep marks, with the lip lubricated using the same oil or grease the equipment runs on. Press the seal in squarely, never striking the lip, with a tube or spacer that bears on the outer ring, and respect the seating depth if the housing has a shoulder. Peripheral speed, temperature and fluid pressure all affect how long the seal lasts, so severe duty may justify a different design.

For an equivalent to the DBH 9595, send the full part number plus the shaft, housing and height dimensions, along with a photo or sample of the old seal; a housing drawing also works. With that information we check our line of seals and oil seals for a suitable option. Standard sizes are not produced in every design, so verifying first avoids ordering errors.

MR Industrial Accessories LLC supplies the DBH brand within its seals and oil seals line. If you are unsure about the application or the installation, send part number 9595 by WhatsApp or email and we will help. We also quote the quantity you need and can suggest equivalents.

Frequently asked questions

What dimensions does the DBH 9595 seal have?
Shaft 40 mm, housing 80 mm and height 8.00 mm. These three figures govern the fit, so check them against your equipment before requesting a quote.
How can I tell whether this seal fits my equipment?
Measure the shaft diameter, the housing bore and the height of the old seal and compare them. If the shaft shows wear, consider a repair sleeve or a seal with the lip in a different position. Send us a photo or sample if anything is unclear.
What matters during installation of a radial shaft seal?
Clean the housing and shaft, lubricate the lip with the lubricant used in the equipment and press the seal in perpendicular without hitting the lip. Use a tube that bears on the outer ring. Misalignment reduces service life.
