The DBH 8205 is an Lx-type oil seal. It combines a sealing lip with a metal case. The lip and spring configuration is intended for moderate-speed operation with oil or grease present. When pressed into the housing, the flexible lip rides against the rotating shaft to form a dynamic seal.
