The DBH 8171 is a radial shaft seal built to keep lubricant in and contaminants out where a shaft turns inside a housing. Its three key dimensions are 76.20 mm for the shaft, 101.68 mm for the housing bore and 12.70 mm for the width. The A 183 design tells you it is a single-lip seal with a spring.
