The DBH 5259 is a radial shaft seal that keeps lubricant in and contaminants out where a rotating shaft passes through a housing. It measures 19 mm at the shaft, 38.07 mm at the housing and 9.92 mm in height, and its Lz designation describes the lip and case construction. This compact seal suits small-diameter shafts with limited axial space.

You will find the 5259 in small gearboxes, centrifugal pumps, low-power electric motors, compressors and belt or chain drives, as well as in machine tools, washing equipment and irrigation systems. In every case it protects bearings and gears by holding oil or grease inside the crankcase and blocking dust, water and particles from entering.
