The DBH 5152 uses an Lx style construction: an elastomer outer body, a reinforced sealing lip and a stainless steel spring that keeps steady pressure against the shaft. Because the outer body is pressed into a machined cylindrical bore, that bore needs the right tolerance so the seal is not distorted on installation.
