The DBH 1389Vit is a radial shaft seal built to keep oil or grease contained where a rotating shaft passes through a housing. Its Lx-R H configuration pairs a main sealing lip with a secondary dust lip, so lubricant stays on the inside while dust, water and airborne particles are kept out. The seal is pressed into the bore and rides on the shaft, which means the three dimensions on the label have to line up with the hardware you are working on.

The code 1389Vit belongs to the DBH oil seal line. Shaft diameter is 46 mm, housing bore is 56.40 mm and the height is 7.00 mm, with design Lx-R H. Those numbers work together: the outer diameter has to seat firmly in the cavity, the lip has to contact the shaft correctly, and the height has to sit right in the bore.
